Easy to use and simple to transfer and setup

On transferring to Santander I was extremely pleased with the service provided and the smoothness of the transfer. The difference between Santander and RBS is night and day, especially with the online banking service and especially the interest rates provided. The only disappointing thing is that although the national rate of interest has gone up Santander have not repaid their customers original faith when joining and returned the interest rate to 3% as was originally advertised nor have they reduced the £5 per month fee back to £3 per month. I've had this account for the past 5 years and never had any problems with it. Ease of transfer, setting up payments and direct debits. The design on the website and apps has easy to use features and makes it simple to choose what you need. Good rates and recommended for simple bank account use. Reviewed on: 20th November 2018
