As a new member I have limited membership experience and consider I had little to say, however reading the newsletter issue 12 gave a refreshing insight into the societys ethos too many positive topics to add here. A nearly 40% growth in financial records in the last 2 yrs says a lot. I look forward to recieveing my next issu. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2023

Letter with no info in it.

I've just received a letter from SBS telling me about their new savings options (bonds) but guess what it doesn't. NO INFO ABOUT THE BOND INTEREST RATES. just waisting my time and paper by directing me to a Web page that I'm expected to search and wait through! Reviewed on: 3rd April 2023

Good, friendly service

I've always found staff to be good and friendly when I've visited the local branch about my savings account. I also appeciate the AGM moving around the country which makes the AGM accessible to many more in person than would otherwise be the case. My only slight disappointment is that branches are no longer open on a Saturday morning. I appreciate the change was ncessary and appropriate when the pandemic broke. I am not aware of an attempt to reestablish Saturday opening after the pandemic. Saturday morning opening is helpful if you work during the week and your place of work is not near the branch. Best Building Society All Round!

I have been a customer of SBS for several years and have always found their staff wonderful and their relationship centres to be friendly ,inviting places with a personal touch. The Scottish Building Society has a fantastic range of savings accounts to choose from and is always very competitive with many of their savings accounts having the best interest rates around. Their online accounts are very easy to use and their website is easy to navigate when a visit to one of their branches is not possible. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others looking for a good return on their savings! Reviewed on: 1st April 2023
