Slow and Antiquated

Opened an online savings account and tried to deposit from my nominated account. Sent funds on Friday and by Monday afternoon there was no sign of them arriving at SBS. Spoke to someone who said I should not expect the funds to be in the account before Tuesday. How slow is this. I have asked for the account to be closed, hoping that they will not send the funds back by pony express with used notes jn an envelope carried by a little man, but with the antiquated systems and procedures it would not surprise me Reviewed on: 30th January 2023
