ISA transfer from another bank.

I had an ISA that was maturing with another bank and decided to transfer it to one of Shawbrook's cash ISA accounts for better interest. Having filled in the forms I was annoyed that this bank emailed me to say they couldn't allow the transfer to go through on maturity as there was one small mistake on the forms. I rang this bank and they said I'd have to start the process all over again !! Rang Shawbrook and explained the situation. No, I didn't have to start all over again. They got in touch with this bank and the transfer happened, at maturity, as planned. Success!! Reviewed on: 21st March 2025

My husband and I have, over several years, held investments with Shawbrook Bank. Their ‘reinvestment’ process is very straight forward and their rates are mostly competitive in comparison with other Banks/Building Societies. All secure messages I have sent to Shawbrook via my online account have always been dealt with efficiently and speedily too. Reviewed on: 14th January 2026
