Outstanding Customer Service!

My experience occurred whilst supporting my very vulnerable friend and neighbour with his finances. I accidentally discovered that my friend had several debts which he was receiving from several agencies and from Debt management companies. My friend has some complex medical issues including seizures& short-term memory loss as a result of an historic brain injury and alcoholism. My friend is unable to care for his needs including his financial needs and his mental capacity has been deemed a risk within the realm of his finances. Whilst waiting for Adult Social Care to provide Money Management support, which takes several months, I have been trying to deal with the debts that have been ongoing so that my friend is not receiving financial demands that he doesn't remember and that cause him to be very anxious. Initially we spent 2 hours with a wonderful young man who was beyond professional and empathic at every point. My friend and I both joined the conversation via speakerphone and my friend was asked if he was permitting the information he was being told to be communicated and documented which my friend was very pleased with given he has lost alot of his independence, he was made to feel that his feelings and opinions matter-this is priceless! We eventually agreed on a Debt Relief Order and felt so, so relieved that there was a solution on the way! The patience & kindness from the young gentleman we spoke with was absolutely amazing & I cannot thank him enough. After reflecting on my neighbour's case& being told by the gentleman I spoke with that there may be an option to request debt to be dissolved due to Medical reasons, we spoke again with Money Wellness. We spoke with a lovely lady who took our details, spoke with her Manager and agreed to have the debts dissolved immediately! My friend and I cried with relief& could not be more grateful to the team at Money Wellness! They deserve all the recognition of this award! Thank you! Reviewed on: 13th September 2025

Highly recommend.

Money Wellness was extremely mental health aware and sensitive. They are supportive, kind and professional. The website and system is straightforward and user friendly and they even offer support and valuable advice on money management after service. I couldn’t recommend the more.
