Simple, cheap and robust

Starling offers a fantastic business bank account. There are no monthly fees, good integration with my accounting software and a great app for day to day transactions. Thoroughly recommended! Reviewed on: 2nd March 2022

Not equipped for Businesses

Starling is not equipped for business, they're great for personal use, or if you're a very new startup. However if you require any services such as loans or overdrafts, which I would consider standard, then Starling is not for you. They do not have a dedicated business team and do not understand business needs. We're still relatively small, turning over 100k, but not having an overdraft facility to handle any unexpected cash flow issues is a worry to me as a business owner. Fortunately, I haven't needed one, but it seems ridiculous to me that they won't offer it. But as a personal customer, I can apply for one.. Avoid Starling and pay for a proper business banking service. Reviewed on: 1st March 2022

Seamless transition to sustainable banking

Easy to manage

Searched for a business account with the most benefit and hassle free opening the account, Starling bank came up and comparing to other banks this was the best to go with, the process to open it was very easy and straight forward. Reviewed on: 24th February 2022

No longer interested in Small Business banking

We have just ended our accountancy partnership agreement with Starling due to the poor service from Starling Bank to our clients over the past 12 months and we can no longer refer any clients (due to these poor service levels). It has become increasingly difficult (more or less impossible for new start-ups) to open a basic current account, there has been no development with their business current accounts including lack of overdraft option, adding a signatory and no rewards or benefits.
