The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Just excellent

This system is so well designed; I had no idea that banking could be so easy. I set up my account from a car in Scotland in about ten minutes. Finally a sensible password system which is designed to protect me rather than just cover the bank’s back while being impossible to remember! Reviewed on: 17th February 2022

Clear, responsive & features

Starling seems to have much cleare overwiev over transactions, search results. Something I was supposed about is responsiveness, as the don't have phone number and communication need to be via chats expected responses in days for each new question, but always got in few hours, might seem long for some, but so simple, just write ur enquiry and soon you will have answere and it will stay with you for reference. Starling features are amazing, mainly spaces, where you can create like separate bank account to save for something or for paying bills or separate accounts for multiple categories of bills. Money can be moved to space or back to account free and instant. Space don't have new account number but it is separate from other parts of account. Have been with Starling only about year, but have enjoyed a lot. Reviewed on: 17th February 2022

Complete control of my finances.

Spend, save, track my money easily. Lock my card if I've lost it, choose your own pin number. And when I've had to contact them, replies have been in a good time and the staff are super helpful. Wish I moved to starling years and years ago. Reviewed on: 17th February 2022

Excellent start to online banking for the whole family

I opened a current account recommended by my boss. Since then my eldest children went off to Uni and they opened Starling accounts too. It’s so easy to send funds to them in a minute and the spaces help them budget. My middle daughter now has a kite card and after 30+ years with NatWest my husband having watch my delight in the product has opened one too. Just my 13 year old to start a kite card and that’s the whole “Happy Family”. Reviewed on: 17th February 2022

Not overdraft eligible

Pretty strange for a bank not to allow a grown adult with a good salary an overdraft when every other bank does. Plus none of my friends use Starling. Reviewed on: 17th February 2022
