From loads of old accounts to Starling Spaces...

We had a number of old accounts in our other main bank. Rather than having to manage all the different payments in and out of the five accounts we switched it all to Starling using their Spaces facility to create 'sub accounts' whcih gave us a single view and easy management of our monthly finances. The app is very easy to use.

The app is very easy to use. It is very easy to freeze a card if you are concerned that it has been lost or stolen. Saving spaces are easy to access and create. Customer service is very responsive and very helpful. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

Vast improvement on a Big Name bank

I switched to Starling from a 'Big Name Bank' after frustration with customer service and poor support for their app while simultaneously reducing in-person banking. Banking with starling has been a refreshing change. Security checks are tight during some transactions (a good thing if occasionally annoying), with regular updates and fixes to the Starling app. I have contacted their customer support once or twice and received a prompt reply to my query. And I really like the 'saving spaces' for dividing up little 'pots'. The only difficulty I have experienced is in the way some online retailers process repeat subscription orders. I found a solution to this by setting up a new 'space' with virtual debit card to overcome this issue. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024
