It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Saved my life?

I was getting desperate about my situation some years ago. I had gotten myself in serious debt and didn't know what to do as my bank at that time couldn't or wouldn't help me. I was having dark thoughts due to this and suffering with depression. I was put in touch with Stepchange. They were amazing. They helped me to feel hopeful again and to stop feeling guilty about my debt situation. I am now nearly debt free and by this time next year my debt management plan will be finished, thanks to Stepchange. They have helped and guided me all through the plan and I cannot fault their service. Kind, considerate and helpful. And yes, they may have saved my life! Thank you Stepchange. Always help no matter what

Whenever you’re having a rough month, feeling low about bills, worrying about the plan and if I can pay on time, they always have options for you, puts you at ease and feel so much better talking to them over the phone, they’re very sympathetic and never judge you. I just had a baby and maternity pay isn’t great so I had a review and feel they really understood my circumstances and still get to enjoy time with my son on a low income. They saved our sanity .

We had large debt problems with credit cards,they have supported us to pay what we can afford monthly by budgeting.We are now seeing the light at the end of a very long tunnel.We couldn’t have made progress without them. Reviewed on: 28th July 2022

Absolute life savers

I approached StepChange when overwhelmed with debt, not knowing how to manage it and the stress that came with it. At no point during the setup process did I feel chastised or made to feel bad for my debt, which in itself was such a relief. I’ve been with them now for 2 years and I’m nearly at the point of clearing off my debt, the thought of which brings me hope and excitement that I never would have dreamed of having before. Outstanding

Our life was spun upside down when my Husband owned up to his gambling disorder in 2018. We were close to losing our house! But Stepchange were there for us, every step of the way!
