Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Best thing I ever did

This company is a life saver. The people who you speak to are kind patient and very knowledgeable. They helped me through it all, not just about my debt, but my health as well, informing me of different charities and suchlike that could help. In debt

With no where to turn and no idea what to do things where getting so difficult to keep things together ,then these guys took all the pressure away straight away from the very first phone call ,they reassure you ,help you ,and life starts again where each day you can see the light ,come up with some great options and help you to find the right one for you ,all the people you speak to very helpful and very nice ,recommend to anyone that may be in this situation. Understanding, Patient, Fast Acting

I have had a fantastic experience with Step Change. Spent a couple of hours talking through a solution in the form of a payment plan. they then dealt with the creditors directly. All I have to do is meet the monthly payment. No issues at all. Reviewed on: 10th July 2023

Help with the management of debt

After finding myself in a situation with mounting debt and suffering with severe anxiety, I came to a point where I could see no way forward. i contacted Step Change who helped me set up a DMP, this was set up and in place within a week, I cannot thank them enough. My DMP has been in place for 6 months now and i cannot express enough how this has helped me, The peace of mind that this has given me - we there are no words. i can now see a way forward, I will have repaid all of my debts in just under 4 years - this wouldn't have been possible without Step Change. Unbeatable Service

I suffer with Bipolar disorder and ADHD and step change have helped me in ways I could not get down in this review.
