Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

A blessing to the community

I can sleep soundly at night knowing my debt is being managed properly. I'm paying what I can afford ever month,I know it's gonna take a while for me to be debt free but at least I'm doing something about it. Wonderful and extremely help support with Debt Management

Stepchange are a wonderful organisation - they put my mind at rest with helpful and practical debt solutions. I would recommend anyone who needs debt advice they will not find a better organisation who understand completely how people feel when they have fallen into debt and need a guiding hand to help them through the worst of their situation. Helfpful staff and saved me a lot of money

If you are looking to consolidate your debt and pay it off as quickly as possible, I thoroughly recommend Step Change. I was talking to a commercial organisation, found Step Change via a Google search and I am paying my debts off 18 months more quickly and laying less money than would have been the case. Very helpful and almost painless

Reassuring and professional

Was a bit wary Bout using at first, but after some phone calls I was feeling much better about being able to deal with my debt. The service was always professional, reassuring and friendly.
