A friend told me about step change I was so worried about my dept paying out more than I could I wouldn't no what I would of done without there help its Excellent service allows me to carry on without that worry . Reviewed on: 27th May 2025

Taking the worry of debt off my shoulders

11 years ago I was in a terrible state. Despair! Credit cards throwing money at me. Cheques to spend money. I wanted to support my business at a difficult time. I had a perfect credit score so the cc companies were only happy for me to borrow more. Ever the optimist, I thought things would get better. I was stupidly irresponsible with my head in the sand and the debt spiral began. Frightening! Embarrassing! Thank goodness for Stepchange, and its precursor CCCS. They have been with me all the way through my Debt ManagementPlan (DMP). The end is near. Thank goodness for Stepchange. As soon as I started my DMP, the worry lifted. I was in a managed process.from the start. It really was like a ton weight lifted off my shoulders. Please, if you are in despair with debt, get the helping hand of Stepchange. Great Support and Advice When It's Needed

At a dire point in my life, when faced with seemingly insurmountable debt following the loss of my job, Stepchange was there to help and guide me through the maze of financial challenges that arose. Today, just a few years later, I am almost debt free, made possible by the well constructed, realistic and achievable Debt Management Plan originated by Stepchange, for which I am truly appreciative. great friendly service

i was at my wits end with worry about my debt and financial situation, i took my head out the sand and phoned stepchange, i’m so glad i did, from the moment they answered the phone the put my mind at rest and made me stop worrying straight away, they were very friendly and sympathetic and went through all my debts with me and kept reassuring me not to worry they will find a solution to sort out the mess i was in, after a long chat in the telephone all my debts were in place and a plan was arranged and now i’m worry free thanks to stepchange, i make a monthly payment , the phone calls and debt letters have stopped and i can breathe again and know i will be debt free in the future, i can’t thank them enough, i can live my life again without the worry and stress, thankyou stepchange you are brilliant.
