Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Fantastic organisation.

Fantastic organisation. I was drowning in interest rates and barely covering my minimum payments. Stepchange got all the interest frozen so now every penny I spend comes straight off my debt. Reviewed on: 27th May 2026

I felt I was drowning in debt and had nowhere to turn and I learnt of Step change which totally made me feel at ease and was so easy to fill out the online form and they took it from there,they dealt with all my creditors and I didn’t have to do a thing they took care of everything ,even when I had questions they were online to help .
