Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

A great company with friendly staff.

When you are in financial 'mess', StepChange helped us out of it with no judgement, just straightforward questions to give you the best advice. And they go through all your debts, followed by your income and expenditure to give your creditors a fair and affordable solution. They also contact your creditors to try and stop any further interest being added. We've been with them for several years and find them great and friendly. Thank you StepChange. Fantastic

I was initially overwhelmed by the process but overall it was so smooth, the agent I spoke to and the online processe were both easy and considerate given the emotional distress involved in managing debt. Thank you for what you do, relieving the burden and easing distress. If I ever become a millionaire I will surely make a donation to stepChange. You really change lives for the better.
