Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Honestly cannot praise Stepchange enough.

Honestly cannot praise Stepchange enough. Like many others I was in a hole sinking hard and fast that I just couldn’t get out of. I was stressed all the time, dreading the sound of my letterbox going knowing it was going to be yet another debt letter. Stepchange have helped me seriously improve my whole life, I’m paying my debts off at an affordable rate each month, I sleep better, I’m not stressed anymore and I’m just generally happier. Ii could finally sleep.
