Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

5 stars from me. Highly recommend - make that call!

I approached Step Change as an overwhelmed client desperate for help. Step Change offered me a non judgmental solution and I have been paying my creditors every month with their continued support. I would definitely recommend Step Change to anyone at rock bottom or simply struggling to make payments each month - a simple call and a problem shared is a problem halved and it really is worth it.
