Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

They helped us so much.

Our experience with them was wonderful they helped us enormously and took a big strain from us, we could understand their explanations if we were not sure of anything. StepChange was a life changer in debt management

StepChange helped me get on top of my many debts in the most human way possible. Everyone I’ve spoken to on the phone was very nice and understanding. From the debt advice and speaking to all the companies I had debt with and making it easy on myself to carry on with my day to day activities without worrying or feeling shame about my situation.
