Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Big help with my debt’s & finances

Hi I’ve been on a debt management plan through the assistance of Step Change for 12 years now.They have helped me to control my spending & take hold of my finances. I have since not gotten into any new debts & have steadily been paying off what I am owing. I am very happy to recommend them to anyone who needs help with their finances & debts. With. Life changing and very non judgmental

All the the staff I have spoken with on the telephone at StepChange are always-without fail -business like, clear, non judgemental and have treated me with the utmost respect. They have helped me get on the journey of rebuilding my finances and therefore my life, in helping me sort out paying off some serious debt in a way I can afford. I am not finished yet but I can now see light at the end of the tunnel, which I will always be grateful to StepChange for. A STEP to CHANGE direction in the right way

Step change really is a CHANGE for the better. They understand peoples position and difficulties financially.. I was very aprehensive when first contacting them to guide me through my debt problems.. What a suprise though. They really are more than just a debt management company. They bring a personal touch to managing your money problems. Their advice is priceless and they go to great lengths to support every customer.. Even to a point of offering additional advice for counselling..
