Always there in times of need

It was such a relief to get the help I needed managing my creditors. I found it easy to deal with, without being judged at a really difficult time. Reviewed on: 28th July 2022

Very useful advice even in late 70s

I found out about Stepchange through my bank having financial difficulties which had got out of hand in my late seventies. The loss of knowing how to deal with money worries was frightening and I dithered; procastrinated. To an extent I still do but the knowledgeable and kind people, a rare combination, have made it possible to believe that even at my age I will get sorted out. I am now 83, dealing with modern technology and complexities becomes increasingly difficult but in spite of my shortcomings I know I can get help. The people at Stepchange have made a real difference and I am very grateful. Reviewed on: 17th May 2024

they saved me from feeling alone and like I had failed.

they saved me from feeling alone and like I had failed. working with stepchange has saved my children from growing up with a stressed out dad, probably saved my marriage but more so saved my future. I am able to live again and although nearing the end of my debt management plan by using the service and sorting my lending I have the chance to build a future without borrowing and a life that I own.
