£1,000 p/m to £60 thanks to Stepchange

I approached step change after I became overwhelmed with debt repayments and got caught up in the horrific cycle of debt. I had a consultation that was blame-free (stepchange don't care why you've found yourself in debt, they care about how they can help you out of it) and were very helpful. I work in Finance and they were careful to advise if I had an obligation to tell my employer. In many cases, this isn't necessary. Stepchange facilitated the move from me paying the banks £1,000 a month to me now paying £60. It's manageable and I can live my life feeling a sense of dignity again. Reviewed on: 27th May 2025

StepChange has changed my life!

StepChange has taken all of the stress away from managing my debts and all agents I have dealt with have been so empathetic and knowledgeable. They have really helped me to understand how to manage my money in the future meaning I will never get myself into the same horrible situation again. Brilliant service.
