Don't let debt ruin your life.

Faced with spiralling debts and not seeing a way out I was at the end of my hope and feeling suicidally depressed.. A friend suggested that I speak to Step change and my life changed for the better as a result. All of the calls and letters stopped and I am now making one monthly payment to Step change who then allocate funds to my creditors. Reviewed on: 11th June 2025

Every person that has assisted me have been so helpful and kind.They know it’s a massive step for people to take that first step and pick up the phone.My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.I feel in control of life again and not afraid to pick up the phone and no more mountains of letters.Changed life for me.. StepChange have helped me out of a financial nightmare. I don't know how I would have managed without them. Their advisors are firm but fair, and most importantly, non-judgmental.
