I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Brilliant - Highly recommend

I was worried about speaking to StepChange as I new...

I was worried about speaking to StepChange as I new I had to fill in all my incoming and out goings . I'm not very good at speaking on the phone and thought I would have to go through. everything on the phone, but thankfully I could fill in the form on-line. I was concerned that I would get bullied in to changing thinks so it would free up more money, like get cheaper brands when shopping, walk to work when you can to save petrol, Or find cheaper quotes for Internet etc, I thought everything would be looked at in great detail to see where I can save more money. But it was easier than I thought. they were friendly and understanding .I would recommend to get in touch with StepChange if you have debt issues as they will deal with the companies you owe money to which takes the weight off your shoulders, you are able to stress less knowing it's all in hand. I got into debt after a cancer diagnosis stopped me...

I got into debt after a cancer diagnosis stopped me working. Instead of dealing with it straight away I let it get out of control. Macmillan recommended Stepchange.
