"A Lifeline in My Time of Crisis

I was going through a severe mental and financial crisis and didn’t know where to turn. When I contacted StepChange, I was overwhelmed and emotional, but they were incredibly patient, supportive, and understanding throughout the entire process. They helped me arrange affordable payments to all my creditors, taking an enormous weight off my shoulders. The relief I felt was immediate, and over time, my mental health significantly improved. I truly believe that call changed the course of my life. Thanks to StepChange, I was able to regain control and start rebuilding—not just financially, but emotionally as well. Don't let debt ruin your life.

Faced with spiralling debts and not seeing a way out I was at the end of my hope and feeling suicidally depressed.. A friend suggested that I speak to Step change and my life changed for the better as a result. All of the calls and letters stopped and I am now making one monthly payment to Step change who then allocate funds to my creditors. Reviewed on: 11th June 2025
