professional and caring.

I was getting chased for money I could not pay and I learned of stepchange,and rang them and they sorted out my debts in a professional and caring way and were not judgemental of how I had got into debt, but showed me how to clear all my debts and got in touch with all my creditors and got them to accept a reasonable payments to them that I could afford and that helped me a lot so much so I had 9 debts to clear at first but now I have only 1 now which I will clear in July, and then I will be debt free, so without stepchange I would never had achieved this and I have no words that could thank them enough for how they got me out of a situation that I would never been able to clear my debts on my own so a big thank you to them. Top quality service! Saved me in many ways

I have been on a Debt Management Plan for a few years to clear some substantial debts incurred at a hard time in my life. Stepchange has honestly been a lifesaver for me. They have been helpful, understanding and always made payments to my creditors on time. They have been extremely understanding on certain occasions when I have not been able to make a full payment towards my plan. StepChange literally saved my life!

StepChange literally saved my life!!! I had nowhere else to go and no-one to turn to and felt very isolated, alone and literally terrified that I would lose everything. I had got to the point where I couldn't see a way out of the debt that my ex-husband had left me in, the bills were racking up and when Covid hit, that was the breaking point for me. I hadn't told anyone about the financial mess I had been left in and was working three jobs to try to make the payments to clear it but because of Covid, two of my three jobs ended. I realised then that I could not do this alone so swallowed my pride and reached out to Step Change. They were so helpful and sympathetic, guiding me through the options that were available to me and I didn't feel judged or stupid. The day after I felt such a relief that I had a plan in place, I wasn't having to juggle payments to different companies and I felt in control.
