I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Stepchange helped me get everything under control.

I reached out to Stepchange when my debt had spiralled thanks to the cost of living crisis. I didn't see a way out and was starting to really panic. After filling out all the information I needed to on their website I got to speak to an advisor over the phone to confirm the option I wanted to go with. The options that are available to you are well explained and the negative consequences of those options are also well explained. They are very informative, helpful and understanding and help you make the best choice based on what you have available to you. They helped me get my debt to a manageable monthly repayment and although I know I still have a long way to go, I know that with Stepchange's help I will be helped all the way. Fantastic helpful people! No judgement, just great help and advice. They take the weight off your shoulders and let you sleep easy knowing everything is under control. Thoroughly recommend. How to pay what you owe.

Been a client of StepChange for a number of years. I did not want to go down the IVA route I wanted to pay what I owed. With StepChanges help I have cleared my original debt of £65K down to £11K currently owed. They are very helpful and understanding. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

I was lost and did not know how I was going to cope. StepChange was suggested to me by my bank .i phoned them and have not looked back since I got my first good nights sleep .
