I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

What a relief

Step change has changed my life and finances for the better. It has helped with my mental health as I was worrying all the time how I was going to find the money for the debt I owed. The service I received from all the staffs excellent. Throughout the process of setting up the Debt ManagementPlan, all the staffs I spoke with talked me through the process explicitily. Helped immensely.

Realising my debts were getting out of control I contacted Step Change and they went through my options, its was really straight forward for me to put a plan of action in place that was affordable to me and to be able to see a way out of crippling debt.
