I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Change my life for the better.

Thanks to Stepchange, I no longer have to sell my house to pay for my debts. I no longer have extreme pressure from the creditors to pay at the least the 'minimum amount'; I am only paying what I CAN. My life is better now, no longer frustrated and stressed out. Highly recommend

I was at a stage where my debts were effecting my everyday life and causing me a huge amount of anxiety. I was up to-date with all my payments but had virtually nothing to live on. I was working two jobs just to be able to eat. From the very first call to step change the relief it gave me was immeasurable. The gentleman I spoke to didn’t judge me and he talked me through the whole process and what my options were. My debt solution Was dealt with professionally and was very quick to set up. I still work two jobs but I don’t have that constant worry and sick feeling in my stomach everyday. I’ve got my normal life back and I feel more like myself again.
