It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. A lifeline!

I fell on hard times after my wife left and I lost an entire income. Step Change were both compassionate and caring but, worked out an entire plan which enabled me to manage my finances going forward and, crucially, alleviated all of my worries during this taxing and emotional time. Life Changing

I was struggling to make ends meet and I mean I got to the point where I had no money to buy food even though I work full time when I contacted StepChange I was instantly made to feel at ease and comfortable and started to feel like a huge weight had been lifted the staff listen, empathise and work out the best solution for your situation I cannot thank them enough for the difference they have made to my life. Facing up to debt!

It took me awhile to face up to my debt problem and contact step change, having done that I still dithered over sharing my problem with a stranger, once I committed myself I realized just how switched on these people were to helping not just to solve the the problem but to reassure that you're not alone facing it, like so many before me I wish that I'd done this sooner, it may sound like a cliche but once I understood where all this was going it was like enormous weight being taken off my shoulders I cannot praise or recommend the whole team and the process to anybody who has any doubt about opening up to step change who are fully conversant with everything you're going through, I am pleased they've been foot forward for the reward and wish them every success they are life changes and deserve all the accolades they can have, regards Bruce Reviewed on: 8th July 2023

Lifesavingly helpful - got me out of a long-term hole

Very easy to talk to, straight forward, made difficult situation manageable. Advice was detailed and once I'd made the decision which option to take it was quick and easy to manage.
