You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

I have been with tembo for almost a year.

I have been with tembo for almost a year. It is an easy use app. Any one can use it. They provide updates on the changes with interest and when there are any uncertainties regarding ISA. They also provide free mortgage advise. In simple words it is just great!! Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

With the LISA in general, I would only recommend this to first time buyers who are looking to buy outside of London. I feel kind of trapped because of the withdrawal fee and not being able to find a 2 bed in London for under £450k in the areas that I'm looking for. Nor will I likely ever have enough money to afford a house in general, but I appreciate Tembi having a reasonable interest rate that will at minimum, help me have a decent extra retirement fund for when the time comes if I never end up having a sufficient size deposit Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
