About this product

You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Tembo is amazing, very clear and understanding.

So far Tembo has been amazing, it so easy to access and navigate the app. Everything you need it there, it’s very easy to deposit and withdraw money if needed. And after the first withdrawal I did it’s very fast and completing the transaction. They are very clear about all the necessary numbers and overall it’s a great and helpful company. Competitive rate and referral bonus

Started using Tembo when they had the highest interest rate on their easy access ISA. Stuck with them as their rate remains competitive. Massive potential

I haven’t yet obtained a mortgage through my own not putting enough money in. However, the return on investment is insane! I have rated the customer service as a 5. I haven’t needed to use it yet but in my eyes if you can set up a system that doesn’t fail and has no issues, that’s already amazing customer service! It’s easy to use and allows quick transfers from your chosen bank account (plenty of options in terms of chains). They send you frequent, informative information regarding money, changes to your account or LISAs in general. Would recommend to anyone. I can’t speak on what it’s like when you have the money to put to a property so can’t speak on that. I don’t doubt there’ll be zero issues and will leave a review regarding that when said bridge has been crossed. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

Once setup it just works as expected

Started putting money in monthly at a low amount. Easy to set up. Then put in the full amount for LISA and chilled for rest of the year. Will do it again this year. Nothing to complain about. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
