Releasing money for a mortgage

After looking at equity release as an option to help my daughter get on the property ladder, I was relieved to speak to Tembo and discover another option (something my own broker never mentioned to me as an alternative to ER). With a retirement interest only mortgage I was able to unlock £60k to help Emily buy. I had never heard of this product before, and am grateful to Tembo for giving me a clear lay of the land so I could make an informed choice. Simple, easy and accommodating

Wonderfully refreshing

Trying to buy a house these days is impossible. Kudos to these guys who are shaking up the system and making it CLEAR what options are available for ftbs failling traditional affordability. We need more mortgage companies who are willing to help non 'vanilla' cases. Reviewed on: 7th February 2022

They go the extra mile

With a caveat that I haven't got a mortgage through tembo (yet) I wanted to add my vote. I've engaged with various people on Tembo's live chat as well as their customer support team to understand what I could borrow with a Boost. These guys are the real deal. They are helpful, knowledgeable and go the extra mile to find a solution. My old broker didn't even know what a JBSP was , nor did he try to explore it for me. Reviewed on: 7th February 2022
