Tesco auto-renewed my car insurance policy without my consent. I believe auto-renewals should be prohibited by law. Martin Lewis always advises us to compare policies annually, so it’s baffling why auto-renewals are still an option. They should be banned. The policy was also overpriced. When I contacted them the same day to cancel and informed them that I sold the car 10 days ago, they told me I would need to pay a £25.50 cancellation fee. Rip off company, praying in people. Purchased a new car 2024 . Provided a quote by Tesco which was reasonable. When I phoned up on day of delivery to provide registration number they added on £95extra despite being told giving registration number in day of delivery would be acceptable.. outrageous about avoid Reviewed on: 18th September 2024

Absolute disgrace.

Absolute disgrace. Refuses to accept no claims proof and gave us a week to get it. Emailed us once and they then cancelled. Forst we knew about cancellation was a text message when they said it was cancelled. Refused to reinstate Reviewed on: 4th September 2024
