Amazing Customer service!

I needed to change my cover from personal to business, and the staff recommended i do it online to save admin fee. she also offered to assist me while patiently waited for my slow computer to load up. I ended up getting refund on changing my policy. Friendly/amazing customer service would recommend to anyone. Tesco online account is also easy to use and user friendly. Keep up the good work Jubeda. Terrible Service

Went to pay for my insurance and then change my vehicle. They took my card payment then gave me a quote of over £500 for my Jeep Wrangler. I decided to cancel my policy and asked for my card payment to be cancelled. They couldn't do that and wanted to refund it to another card they had on file. After speaking to a manager they can now make a payment back to my card but it will take 7-10 days. Terrible service and very unhelpful staff. I will never use or recommend them again. Complete waste of money, incompetent, appalling service.

Absolutely appalling service I wouldn't give one star to but not possible. This has got to be the worst insurance organisation ever created that has left me constantly surrounded by total incompetence. The car number plates were cloned. This car then had a ding. Short story, Police came round, examined car and interviewed me. They reported that it was a cloned car and nothing to do with me. Eventually Tescos said it wasnt me. lots of worry. NOW 3 years later, have found out they have left the file open and it may effect future insurance. Save yourself AVOID at all cost. Tesco Boxins car insurance

Bought the Tesco Boxins car insurance for my daughter. Initially it was £1240 for a Ford Ka, After 7 months the Ford broke so we got her a Peugeot 206. This cost us another £470. After 9 and a half months Tesco Boxins cancelled her insurance as she wasn't achieving good enough scores on speeding. Every 500 top up miles she bought was £69.22 I reckon it has cost over £2000 for 9 months insurance and she didn't even get any no claims. Found her a new insurance for £1740 with no black box. Basically I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. This insurance can charge you what they want. The whole on line side of things is a joke and driving data is always at least a week behind. Rubbish, Rubbish, Rubbish Do not buy under any circumstance. You WILL regret it!! This despite a no-fault accident several weeks ago in March resulting in my car been written off and me unable to get to work. Quality Cover

This year was the first time that I insured my car with Tesco. I am very impressed. They were by far the cheapest cover but didn't scrimp on cover at all. Have everything that you need for a great all round cover. I would fully recommend getting a quote from them. Reviewed on: 1st May 2019

SCAM AVOID

They renewed my insurance without my consent and USED MY BANK DETAILS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION to take money from my bank. NO LETTER NO PHONE CALL just an email that goes into your spam box to let you know!!! I called and they say I signed an automatic renewal, This is a LIE as I never did this to ensure I go each year through compare the market to get the movies deal. THIS IS A FRAUD. THEY ARE A JOKE. Cancelation fees + penalties is more than £300. I am SO ANGRY. They are a bunch of LIARS, DO NOT GO WITH THEM Reviewed on: 18th April 2019

Amazing service

Suffered a none fault accident in March 19 having been with Tesco for a few years. Call to report incident was quick and easy with no trick questions and understanding call staff. Transfer to a claims manager, who took details and was informative. The same claims handler dealt with claim start to finish, and was always the same person to call me. Tesco settled at a reasonable price for my total loss, paid within 2 hours. Even paid for the car seats within a few hours too. I was very happy with the service, when I was offered the amount for total loss the staff allowed me time to consider the offer and were not pushy or reluctant to help. I was pleasantly surprised and I’d love to stay with Tesco but my renewal has come through too high, which is indeed very sad! Reviewed on: 7th April 2019

RIP off car insurance

I had a tesco car insurance policy this year but my car failed it’s MOT, so I decided the cheapest option was to scrap it. I bought a newer car on the Saturday and was hoping to just transfer my insurance over to the new car, but this was not to be. I ended up getting cheaper insurance with another company, (even tho my new car was more expensive and had a bigger sporty engine.) when I got hold of tesco on Monday, they charged me £40 for cancelling my policy(which I was kind of expecting ) but then charged me ANOTHER £43 for cancelling break down cover I never knew I had! I won’t be using TESCO CAR insurance again, even if they do come up the cheapest... rip off!! Reviewed on: 25th March 2019
