I have been with this company for 6 years and would never change

Quick & Efficient

Two big claims on our oldiest dog, they paid up quickly and with no arguments or quibbles. It made a stressful time easier for us. Good cover and customer support with value for money policies. You never know how good an insurance company is till you claim!! Reviewed on: 1st August 2023

They took my money for years then refused to pay when my cat got seriously ill.

my cat had cystitis years ago and when I took out insurance for her I accepted that a urinary infection would be considered a pre-existing condition not covered by the insurance. What the company failed to tell me is that they consider renal failure to be the same thing as a urinary infection so when, years later, I asked for help to cover the costs of this serious condition they refused to pay. We understand that when you purchased your policy you disclosed the previous issues with your cat's urinary system. Due to this, we placed an endorsement on the policy due to an increased risk and provided this with your policy documents excluding the urinary system as a whole. Your policy documents have also been provided at each renewal confirming under what terms we can supply cover. Unfortunately your recent claim fell under the exclusion placed for the urinary system, and therefore the costs were unrecoverable. Everything you could ask for and more!!

There is always that level of doubt with pet insurance. Will we need it, will it really cover our needs? will they pay out? Well we have policies with the Insurance Emporium for all 3 of our dogs and we could not recommend more!! Unfortunately we have had different issues with each of our dogs, ranging from allergies to our older dog suffering a number of health issues but we have always found the team are helpful, knowledgeable, payments made super efficiently and great communication through the whole process. There have been no crazy silly increases the following years either so we have been with them for years now. Highly recommend!! Reviewed on: 1st August 2023

I have been with the insurance emporium for a number of years now. Their renewal prices have been great, their website is easy to navigate and use and policies are very clear. I rang customer services for a query surrounding my policy and they were very helpful and quick to resolve my questions and were happy to send me written confirmation straight away.
