Ethical bank with great customer service

I have banked with Triodos for many years. On the odd occasion when I needed assistance I spoke to a human being which these days is a rarity. They were always polite and knowledgeable and resolved the issue promptly. In a world where customer service seems to mean very little Triodos are definitely bucking that trend! I use the Triodos current account

I use the Triodos current account for all my banking operations. With the ease of access through the Triodos app it is simple to carry out all of my transactions and enquiries. One slight drawback is that my wife's swiss state pension can only be paid into an account in her name so we have to have another bank account to enable this to happen. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

From day one my experience with Triodos has been exemplary. Any issues are dealt with promptly and easily and it’s good to know that my money is being used sustainably. Excellent, reliable service. I switched to Triodos for their ethical stance and love everything about it. Attractive, intuitive app, quick and compassionate service when I was nearly scammed. A bank like they all should be

I have a current account and a savings account with Triodos and though I don't use them very frequently I am very happy with what they do and any communications with them. My only slight quibble is I know because they are a Dutch bank and don't use the same financial year as the UK does. This can be a challenge when doing my tax return but they have been more accommodating recently and helped me to calculate what I need to know. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026
