Because Ethics Matter

Triodos is perfect if you're looking for an ethical bank - something that seems pivotal in todays climate. I've used Triodos for years, and although they are a great company, I always though their app seemed a little outdated, especially when compared to other banking apps like Monzo or Revolut. However, they've updated it and it's much easier to use - I especially love the "Impact" section where you can read about the ethical impact your money can have. i am 80 years old

i am 80 years old and i sometimes need help from a real person. triodos people have always gone beyond what i expected and have been supportive and helpful in solving my queries. i have never encountered any difficulty when i did use the online system. i support triodos's ethos and ethics and am happy to have a way to do banking that aligns with my values. A bank that tells you how it works!

Communication on line is very good, customers know who is helped by their money and the reasons. Staff are always helpful and well informed on the telephone. Some potential customers may be put off by the monthly £3 fee - less than a cup of coffee - and the zero interest on current accounts but this must be balanced with the sustainable approach of the bank's policies Reviewed on: 23rd March 2026

Triodos.... my money is safe and with an ethical!

For me, knowing that my money is safe and with an ethical bank, makes all the difference. The Triodos website, may not be as efficient as other banks, but Triodos more than makes up for that in it's ethical and environmental stance, and customer service. I have moved all my cash to Triodos, as I trust the bank, which coming from someone so cynical about Banks, is praise indeed. I was with Co-operative Bank for years, but they sold out on their ethical principles, so now only have a joint account left there. When the time comes, and my children are through University, I will invest with Triodos too. The projects are amazing... Reviewed on: 23rd March 2026

With Triodos Bank, I can be confident that my money is being used for social and environmental good, their customer service is excellent quality - polite, timely and helpful - and they offer a wide range of products from current accounts and investments, to peer-to-peer lending options.
