Ethical banking that feels good and works well

I am very happy with my Triodos current account. The app is very easy to use and the customer service has been good so far. Most importantly, knowing that my money is being used to support ethical and sustainable projects makes everyday banking feel more meaningful. The small monthly fee of £3 seems appropriate, as I view this as a donation towards sustainability projects. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026

Ethical money pays

It is so refreshing to be able relate to a small principled and caring bank rather than the usual anonymous, obscure and greedy corporations. I like to feel part of a force for good with my money, why don't others cotton on? There are a lot of us who despair at the way our financial systems conducts itself. Triodos is a rare alternative.
