A refreshing take on banking

Communication from Triodos about how my money is used is clear and makes me feel like I’m part of something fair and thoughtful. Refreshing in these times where unsustainable growth is often marketed as the only way to go- I like how Triodos is prepared to challenge this narrative. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2025

Purposefully ethical with straightforward service

Really straightforward on line access to my account. Clear communications (not too many but enough!). Feels good to be banking with an Ethical Bank. Insightful and interesting newsletters - always amazed at the breadth of the partnerships undertaken by Triodos. Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

Efficient and supporting positive use of money

I have a current account and ISA account with Triodos and really appreciate that if I need to speak to someone this is easy and I speak to a very human person but I rarely need to speak to anyone as it all works. There are some cash machines which are a bit suspicious but this is no problem and I never have to pay as they warn me I might. And most of all I appreciate that the bank is ethical and my money is not supporting fossil fuel and arms industries etc and that the bank is supporting positive change Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

Simple and efficient service

My communication has been mainly online. I have found the experience easy and efficient. I haven't felt marketed at or harassed to get products. Communication from them by email is minimal but information received is useful and relevant to me. The app is very easy to use and not cluttered. Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

Simple, easy, ethical choice

I made the switch on ethical grounds as I wanted to feel like my money wasn't just not doing harm, but was actively doing good in the world. I found the experience of switching from my existing current account to be very quick and easy, signposted at every corner, and online support very responsive and knowledgeable when I had queries. The recent addition of Apple Pay is a real boon and I hope the start of bringing further functionality that I miss from banks such as Monzo with the ability to use "pots" etc to budget.
