Great Bank, Great People!

A bank with a social and environmental conscious and one that treats their customers in a person centred way

I chose to bank with Triodos because of their over arching commitments to social and environment justice and their promise they won't invest in fossil fuels, the arms trade, unethical corporations, etc But for me the most important thing has been how they've treated me as a customer. Earlier in the year I went through a period of stress that meant I was signed off work for a period of time. This had a huge impact on my finances. I was constantly in my overdraft and at one point didn't have enough money for a monthly payment. I received a phone call from the bank with dread expecting a fine. Instead I was asked if everything was ok and if I needed any help. I explained my situation and the friendly and supportive adviser I spoke to suggested they could waive the fee for the payment. But they alao cancelled the interest charge on my account. Since then I have received regular calls to see if things have improved and have not had to pay any fees on my account whilst my finances are stabilising. Ethical Bank

My experience of Triodos is that in addition to being that very rare thing in today's banking world, and ethical bank, it is also very efficient and on the ball regarding secure internet banking. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

User friendly ethical banking

Triodos ticks all the boxes. I have appreciated the patience of phone advisors when I needed help. The app is very easy to use. I enjoy receiving e mail updates on ethical projects the bank are involved in. A small thing , but the design of the logo is attractive too. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

Super friendly eco conscious this centred banking

I love what Triodos stands for, I love their regular updates about small and environmental focussed business they invest in. I love that their debit card is biodegradable. Their telephone customer service has been fantastic. The app works great. The only reason I’ve left 4 and not 5 stars is they don’t yet support Apple/android pay. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

Proper banking with impeccable ethics

Triodos covers all aspects of day to day banking. Customer service is great., it's the same service if not better than most competitors. You have the bonus of knowing your money is being ethically used. You can even make money investing in the ethical products. Triodos are years ahead of the vast majority of their industry peers. Wonderful Bank!!

A great ethical bank

Really the only truly ethical bank that meets the needs of the ordinary private user. I have banks with Triodos for several year and have been very impressed by the service. The current account works well, on-line banking is easy and ISA rates very competitive. Always easy to reach a telephone adviser when needed Reviewed on: 14th December 2019
