My Vanquis experience

Useless balance transfer offers

I wanted to transfer the balance of another credit card on to my Vanquis card I was told that I had to be offered this and as I did not owe on the card I couldn't get an offer The agent was unable to tell me what I needed to do to get the offer - how much I had to owe or over what period. Warning. Please read before you consider Vanquis.

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. I've used them for years and they they increases my interest rate twice in two month. Wrote a review on trustpilot warning people that they're doing this and, without telling me, Vanquis blocked my credit card. I then made a complaint to them and didn't get a response for two months. Then they came back with an extremely long reply that didn't have anything to do with my complaints. I replied back and pointed this out and another two months later, no response. Then sent a follow up complaint about it and another over two months later still no reply. So its been 6 months without use of my card. I'm looking into how I can pursue this further with the relevant authorities as this company are beyond negligent. Reviewed on: 2nd May 2024
