I’m disgusted at the behaviour of Vanquis credit card.

I’m disgusted at the behaviour of Vanquis credit card. I got 600 credit limit and was also offered an increase to a 1000 I was late with one payment my payment history was very good otherwise I would not have been offered an extra 400 credit if I was a bad payer,now I’m thinking of closing my account as what can you do with £100 pounds life is expensive 100 goes no where so I’ve stopped using the card because it’s pointless. Great service

When dealing with vanguis we have always been treated fairly, and with respect, the staff are always helpful and polite, and nothing is ever too much trouble. We are sent updates regularly, and we find the app very easy to use. Reviewed on: 2nd May 2024

Making people embarrassed by wasting their time when...

Making people embarrassed by wasting their time when it comes to credit limit increase. They sends out letters saying you're eligible for a credit limit increase and collects data from us just to decline it. All other credit cards providers instantly accepts the limit increase upon sending the income details. It happened thrice in my case and 4 times in my wife's case. My limit with Vanquis is £500 and on other credit cards, I have a limit of minimum £5,000 and my credit score is perfect 999. Reviewed on: 2nd May 2024

good service

Happy with the service provided. Customer service is ok. I wasn't happy with messages (I have received a few of them) asking if I would like to increase my balance and if I have agreed I never was approved to do so. But other then that no problems. Reviewed on: 2nd May 2024
