Don't always believe

Money tooken for house valuation and it is our fault that we didn't wait for the answer first. But customer advisor was saying "no need to woried all should be okay, all looks good". Declined because of that there is gaps for last 4 years working (it is not true). Money for deposit are from student finance (Not true as well). Not even given a chance to prove that that it is not true. "You are in risk beacuse of Covid-19". So why giving a hope.. I do not recommended Reviewed on: 16th July 2020

Caring efficiency from staff who we have known by name over 30 years.. Fantastic!!

Flecible service over 30 years: First took out a mortgage with Vernon BS in 1988, which became a joint morgage when I married, then increased to buy a larger property. Later paid off a lump sum after a windfall, then increased mortgage again for an even larger property. Buy to let mortgage in 1997 to purchase a rental property. Personal and helpful

I was surprised when I called up and asked and met with ‘i remember speaking to you before’. Small helpful and very friendly team. Flexible and were able to help shuffle my mortgage stage release payments to help with my cash flow which was amazing Reviewed on: 8th January 2020

Truly personal service.

I accompanied my daughter to a couple of meetings when she was starting to look at buying a flat. She had a "help to buy ISA" which really helped, and the additional Vernon bonus was another plus. The service and advice received was exemplary, and you helped to guide a novice through the whole process. You also really worked hard to get the mortgage approved, when she had already had 2 other bigger societies respond with "computer says no". She is now happily installed in her flat, thanks to the Vernon! Reviewed on: 18th December 2019

Excellent service

Recently ported' our mortgage and had excellent service with a personal advisor all through the process. Hitches solved quickly. So different from the main mortgage providers- who pass you from pillar to post to solve issues. Thoroughly recommended Reviewed on: 17th December 2019

Excellent Customer Service with a friendly attitude.

The Vernon contacted us to advise which loyalty schemes were on offer when our current deal was due to expire and were happy to discuss which one suited our circumstances the best.
