trying to find a mortgage when you are getting old

trying to find a mortgage when you are getting old is disturbingly complex and often leads nowhere. But Vernon accepted immediately and, realising my pension is £10.000 a month and continues even after my death, Vernon accepted very quickly. I was up and running in a very short time. Since then I have been amazed and satisfied with Vernon's non-bureaucratic and thus speedy management of my case. Reviewed on: 25th March 2024

Excellent personal service

We have had several mortgages with the Vernon. Ours is an unusual rural property, we have received such valuable mortgage advice, the Vernon understands us, our needs and we always know that we will be treated as individuals and more importantly as people. We would highly recommend the Vernon as a local mortgage provider, they know the area, they have lots of expertise and can create a flexible package for individuals if required. Vernon's customer service is second to none. I was always able to speak to named individuals for continuity of contact, received loads of constructive advice on the best mortgage product for me, and complete flexibility to adapt the mortgage as my situation changed - and all at very competitive rates.
