It’s positive that Virgin Money offers credit cards for all purposes including money transfer, balance transfer, purchases and traveling. A Virgin Money cashback Credit Card would be a good product to introduce. It is misleading that Virgin Money sometimes gives a ‘Pre-approved’ eligibility rating on comparison sites such as Experian Credit Matcher however may decline them after making an application. This is not putting the customer first or treating them fairly. I would like to see Virgin Money improve their digital services by introducing a mobile banking app where customers can manage their credit cards on their device and Apple and Android pay. Many other credit card issuers have this service. The online service via the website is very good because you can carry out most transactions, see duplicate statements, offers and view you pin. The telephone is always answered promptly and the staff are always helpful in card services. I really hope Virgin Money truly listen to the feedback on this review site and embrace it to continue to provide a good customer experience. Most of the service is positive however some aspects need improvement. Reviewed on: 17th January 2018

No Moral Compass

Due to personal circumstances, missed payment by a couple of days. Account was levied with both late payment charge & interest. Whilst I was accepting that the late payment was my fault & accepting of the charge, Virgin removed my offer (0% Balance Transfer) forcing me to look for another provider. Virgin not interested in circumstance, just quoted their policy & yes it's in the small print, but I would have expected a little empathy given the circumstance....Virgin you have no moral compass & I shall never use your Brand again, whether that be finance, travel or media!! Virgin Money makes me feel as though they are on MY side, there to help me not judge me and to remove any stigma about dealing with all matters money. Virgin Money...Second to None!

I took out a credit card with Virgin Money in September. I was very hesitant about getting a credit card as I am from the 'old school' If you don't have the Cash you don't buy...But I am very pleased with everything about Virgin Money, and the Customer Service is second to None.
