Just godawful.

Just godawful. Consistently on hold for at least 40 mins. One alert where they asked me to contact them. After over an hour on hold, I gave up and tried another number. They looked at the account and said there was nothing wrong - although they verified that the alert had indeed come from them. Then online account was blocked - again, spent ages on hold on a Sunday when their hours were showing as open. But then it had to be referred to another department and they weren't open until Monday. So tried again on Monday and got everything resolved in about 5 mins - but was on hold for 45 mins to get there. So many problems with their new system. I really hope they get this sorted soon because it's a miserable experience having to deal with their very inaccessible customer support and appalling wait times. Reviewed on: 15th August 2022

Fast, user-friendly, conform to my expectations

Virgin bank customer are still able to receive a face to face personal service. It is a proper service which treats its customers as valued and important clients. There is always adequate staff to deal with providing a service on a timely and courteous manner. Reviewed on: 21st November 2017

Fast and helpful

When setting up a new joint account the staff in my local branch were very helpful and efficient. We had our two children with us who were rapidly growing bored. But before we knew it we were finished and the cards and paperwork were in the post by the end of the week. Excellent service coupled with beginners like the lounges make Virgin Money my first choice. Reviewed on: 21st November 2017

Treating the customer more than fairly

Having tolerated atrocious service and attitudes from RBS in recent years I am overjoyed to have transferred to Virgin Bank as the staff are not only helpful they do truly make you feel a valued customer. Reviewed on: 18th November 2017

When our previous building society decided to stop current accounts we had a check on what was available and choose Virgin Money. We should have changed to them years ago. The help they gave changing accounts was excellent and the support and rewards are great as well. Use the Virgin Lounge is the icing on the cake. Reviewed on: 16th November 2017

Honestly Honourable Account

Excellent service!!!

I had a very difficult time losing my job and then losing my father. Times were tough, I needed to reorganise my debt and and move out of my home. Virgin Money was the one bank that was there for me, offering a basic account to help me get back on my feet. The branch staff in Cardiff could not have been more understanding and helpful! Things are now getting better in my personal life. I will be launching my own business shortly. I am so happy with how things have evolved over the last 12 months and I can honestly say that without the support from Virgin Money, I wouldn't be in the position I am now to move forward and live my life again.
