My credit card has been frozen due to suspicious activity, I've checked my statement and nothing looks off, tried to get hold of Zopa all weekend with no luck and then this morning managed to get hold of someone on the live chat who was very unhelpful, with just a message of "a mass communication will be sent out to customers today" In this time I've had payments declined and subscriptions cancelled due to none payment, nightmare! This issue has highlighted that Zopa Bank really lacks ways to get support when you need it, I would highly recommend people take this into consideration when deciding if they want to use Zopa. Two days they kept me and the dealer hanging only to refuse my application with no explanation. I have used zopa in the past for an unsecured loan which was approved within minutes but a car finance with an asset attached...no dice!!! Now the only reason i can think of for refusal was the very low interest rate THEY offered me!! They bombarded me with emails for some time promising low interest rates based on what they know about me, but when i take them up on it, then "computer says no"! Im not so bothered about the refusal, but the time wasting for £11495 is not needed! If they offer you a low interest rate that seems too good to be true, it is! Use their nearest competitor instead. Great bank and really good customer service and competitive rates

Moved to Ireland after taking out a loan. Couldn't update my address - computer says no. Couldn't log in without a UK mobile number as... Moved to Ireland after taking out a loan. Couldn't update my address - computer says no. Couldn't log in without a UK mobile number as 2FA - computer says no. In the end they promised not to send post to my old UK address and make a note of my new address on my account for security purposes but I always had to give my old address to get past security. Tried to change my direct debit to my Revolut which is obviously registered at my new address - computer says no. Useless. No solutions given. Just no, can't do it. Make it so hard to access my account and pay off my loan, which makes no sense. Doesn't feel like a very professional or modern company. Would not recommend. EDIT: after my initial review they contacted me to sort out the direct debit. I even got an email saying it had been setup with the correct details.
