Superb savings bank. Simple, efficient and the interest rates

The best UK instant access savings account interest rate. Simple, no-nonsense, £85k FSC protected, smartphone app-managed account. The app was simple to set up. Customer service set up a link to my main bank within minutes and then I was ready to deposit. Interest is paid monthly which is nice to see. There are 3 'pots' for instant, 1 week and 1 month notice for which higher rates are rewarded. The app is so easy to use, well designed and works flawlessly. The communications and notifications are all helpful and friendly and not over-powering. The security seems to be well planned and is not intrusive. All in all it is an absolute joy to have the best interest rate and instant access to my cash within seconds on my smartphone. The customer service contact is with a human, in the UK, via a phone line, which is answered quickly - wow! The other market-leading interest rate online savings bank refuse to link their app to my Tier1 high street bank despite the bank fulfilling all the technical requirements. Simple, easy and good rate

Gave up trying to set up an online account with a traditional building society waiting on their checks and failure to send me my account details to make a deposit. Set up a Zopa account securely in about 5 mins. App works well and decent rates relative to access terms. Reviewed on: 17th March 2023
