Long time customer

Have been a customer for quite some time now both standard savings accounts and fixed rate bonds.. As existing customers we always get emails informing us of any new saving options. Also kept informed of any change to interest rates. During Covid with restrictions we were able to carry out our required banking needs with the usual excellent serice which still applies today Reviewed on: 5th March 2025

Good interest rates

Good interest rates compared to other banks and building societies and they always seem to pass on increased interest rates the first to the customer. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Excellent service and feels like a family owned/run bank

Polite and helpful staff. Never pushy but only too happy to help. When I was thinking of a mortgage they gave me advice even though they knew it ment It would lead me to a competitor as it would benefit me. They still helped me with the process. Excellent customer service

I found the savings rates to be amongst the best to be had when I transferred my monies into various accounts with Chorley Building Society. I like that they are our local building society and give savers both a pass book and the ability to manage funds online if that's what the person wants.
