As I was not aware that the flight was cancelled until I arrived at Gatwick airport Easyjet reimbursed a percentage of my travel home costs. I attempted to claim my travels costs for the journey to Gatwick airport from my travel insurance (which stated it covered travel expenses. First Admiral said that they would not pay out as Easyjet had sent an email informing me that the flight was cancelled. When I replied that the email was sent AFTER I had left home, and was well on my journey, and that even if we had turned around that I would still have had to pay the taxi driver - they replied that taxi fares are not covered by the policy! Did a price comparison for car insurance and Admiral came up as the cheapest. Easy to arrange and get the cover that I want.

Received renewal quote, and to my surprise it had only increased by small amount, and was still cheaper than some quotes I had received.

Car vandalized, Admiral dealt with everything promptly to my needs.
