Just easy and clear

Substantial savings over previous HSBC policy, which felt like it was pushed upon us by the mortgage lender, but Admiral's policy setup process was so easy and clear I could tell that it covered and exceeded what we had previously with HSBC. Admiral weren't quite the cheapest on the CompareTheMarket website when we were looking, but the clarity over the cover provided compared to the cheaper alternatives, and good experiences from using them in the past for motor insurance, meant we chose them for just a few pounds more than the others. Subsidence worry

Had a problem which I thought could be subsidence. After a few phone calls Admiral assured me that it wasn't. Asked for photos of house and phoned back when they promised. Reviewed on: 5th September 2025

Seamless transition from previous insurer

We entered a point when previous insurer had been taken over by Admiral. Transition was seamlessly handled by customer advisors by phone and email. Alerts, progress, completion. Reviewed on: 5th September 2025

Huge increase in premium despite no claims

The last renewal was quoted with a huge (over 30%) increase in premium despite still not having made a claim - ever. Trying to get answers as to why didn't get any response.
